Senior Data Analyst – SQL & SSIS

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst with 10–14 years of hands-on experience in SQL development, data analytics, ETL, and Microsoft SQL Server. The successful candidate will build efficient database solutions, maintain data quality, troubleshoot complex issues, and support data engineering and analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and optimize scalable database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Develop and maintain complex stored procedures, functions, views, queries, and database scripts.
• Create and support SSIS packages and ETL workflows for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Handle data migration, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities.
• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Troubleshoot database performance, data integrity, and ETL processing issues.
• Optimize SQL queries, database objects, and ETL processes to improve reliability and performance.
• Support dimensional data models, including star and snowflake schemas.
• Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, reporting, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation and follow database development and deployment best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 10–14 years of relevant experience in data analysis, SQL development, database engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience as a SQL Developer is mandatory.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions, and analytical functions.
• Extensive experience developing and optimizing stored procedures, functions, views, and database scripts.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Solid understanding of ETL architecture, data integration, data migration, and data validation.
• Understanding of data analytics and dimensional modeling concepts, including star and snowflake schemas.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
• Ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Git or similar version-control tools.
• Experience with Power BI or comparable business intelligence and visualization platforms.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
